Abstract
La leggibilità di testi e immagini è una componente fondamentale per la progettazione grafica di un artefatto in generale; se si parla di musei, l’attenzione dovrebbe essere maggiore. I prodotti dedicati alle persone con disabilità visiva che hanno un’acuità visiva ridotta richiedono un’elaborazione ancora più accurata. L’accesso alla cultura è un diritto di tutti. Spesso le didascalie nei musei sono scritte in un carattere molto piccolo, le cartine non sono chiare, ecc. Questi elementi, condizionano la possibilità delle persone ipovedenti di fruire delle opere d’arte. È un problema di comunicazione che può essere risolto. La scelta del tema non è casuale; fin da bambina ho potuto sperimentare cosa significhi avere una forte miopia. La sola correzione possibile sono le lenti a contatto. La domanda che mi sono posta è: com’è possibile migliorare la leggibilità di testi e immagini per le persone ipovedenti, nel contesto di una visita museale?
