Abstract
Electronic devices compliance has become one of the fundamental parts of the whole product development. In fact, manufacturers have to look for new and ingenious solutions in order to deliver a fabulous product that complies with the current norms. Wireless device manufacturers have recently developed techniques to ensure compliance of their products with limits for human exposure to radio-frequency electromagnetic fields. A commonly used technique is to reduce the output power when the user is in direct contact with the device. Regulatory agencies that want to test the devices have to measure these sensors/behaviours manually, which is very time consuming and limits the number of use conditions that can be tested. These tests are currently performed by approaching the device to an ideally infinite plane that simulates the human body (similar dielectric material).
