Abstract

The purpose of this project is to evaluate imagery’s frame data in an area of interest based on customers’ preferences and group the fittest and refined ones, a job that had to be previously performed manually. The commission of the software was designed and proposed by sarmap SA. Sarmap is a company specialized in the analysis of geographical scans acquired from international satellites. All imagery, data descriptions and downloads are provided by the ESA Copernicus [1] programme and can be acquired from existing APIs such as ESA Scientific Data Hub [2] or other national mirrors. After dividing the entries in their respective category, a geometric approach is then performed to evaluate single data instances and agglomerates, then, all of the results are compared to exclude superfluous frame stacks. The selected stack is then downloaded from the best and fastest implemented services available. Automatic software
