Abstract
--- StartupGarage is a SUPSI-DTI initiative, useful for developing student business ideas. The web application is responsible for helping users of the StartupGarage to collect: ideas, information on Standby Mentors with the related skills and has the purpose to associate, following a logical sense, the ideas to mentors. Already created a robust platform in the first phase of the project, now the goal is to continue the development; carefully following the graphic and algorithmic aspect of the application. The core of the WebApp, the algorithmic part, has been updated using algorithms of relatedness/similarity between words. Using the WuPalmer, Lin and Lesk algorithms, and the WordNet lexical database; the application calculates the correlation between ideas and Standby Mentor.
